Product Description
The blank feels quite light in the hand, well-balanced without any heaviness in the head. The action is rather soft, with just the right amount of roundness in the return. The power increases noticeably, but always smoothly, from the first third of the rod, reaching an ideal level for a 9wt line in the butt section. In use, it's a very well-made rod: good responsiveness with very little tip bounce, resulting in beautiful, easy loops. A very good option for those who need distance and the ability to cast large streamers far in the wind. It's the ideal choice for an all-round bass rod, suitable for estuaries and boats. In particular, it handles line changes very easily; it will be perfectly at home with a WF8 when stealth is required, but it can also handle a large shooting head with power. This rod also works well for pike, especially in summer, when poppers/gurglers are preferred over very large streamers.
