Sharpshooting, pike fishing from a float tube, and wreck fishing!
This short, powerful, and responsive blank was developed for heavy vertical jigging. It has enough power for effective hooksets, yet it becomes quite sluggish during the fight. The 30-80g casting weight range is designed for freshwater vertical jigging, i.e., with jig heads between 20 and 60g and a 15-18cm finesse lure. For casting, it's a highly regarded blank for pike fishing from a float tube with soft lures from 20 to 50g.
At sea, this blank can be used for vertical jigging for sea bass or pollack on wrecks, at depths of 15 to 60m, with jig heads up to 150g.
