Product Description
The Snapper Beast originated from a specific request by ProStaff Rodhouse to North Fork Composites engineering. The goal was to obtain a blank specifically designed for modern sea bream fishing techniques, such as Madai, Tenya, and Kabura. We chose a 7' (213 cm) length, perfectly suited to vertical/diagonal fishing from a boat, allowing for hours of fatigue-free fishing.
The blank falls into the progressive action family; it's a slim blank, flexible at the tip, but with a fast recovery speed. This results in a sensitive rod, alerting the angler to bites while allowing the fish to take the bait without feeling resistance.
The blank is built in the USA by North Fork under exclusive license from Rodbuilders Republic, using IM carbon fiber, making it a 100% carbon blank. After defining the specifications and validating the prototypes received in Brittany, we sent a blank to our Mediterranean team for their feedback. Their comments were unanimous: they couldn't let it go! The Snapper Beast 84VS is the perfect blank for sparid fish, ideal for all "Tai Fishing" styles.
