The MB 807-1 HM is a high-end American blank designed by Gary Loomis, considered by many anglers to be the best blank designer in the world. He was among the first in the US to begin building graphite rods in 1974. This NFC blank is exceptional for medium-heavy casting, with a beautiful fast action for retrieves, yet a smooth action for fighting lures. This blank comfortably handles a 15cm shad and a 42g jig head at the upper end of its range. For the vast majority of fishing spots, its high power range is sufficient for casting. It is also very effective for surface lures. The 8' MB series blanks are renowned among experienced rod builders for being true catapults. It comes equipped with a carbon handle, Fuji IPS reel seat, and Fuji Titanium Torzite guides. The reel seat is 38cm from the butt.
